Life is neat.

This week we saw an incredible movie called BARAKA about the cultures of the world. This week at Kinkos I met a lady who has a non profit organization called "Learn Share Grow" that educates kids in Africa about sexual health and stuff. It was pretty awesome. It is possible that I will be designing her website, logo, pamphlets, business cards and all manor of ect. . . In return she might send Ashley and I to Africa to volunteer!

Um . . . Tonight we are going to see "Inception" and I am very excited. I have heard so much about it from very reputable sources (Josh Brown).

Our life consists of

1. Work/School

2. Movies

3. Dinner together

4. Going to the Gymn together

5. Cuddling

6. Talking

That is about all we do. Are we more boring now . . . um a little.

But we are accomplishing cool things in our lives and we are preparing to accomplish REALLY cool things!

I love LIFE!

So everything is going so well. Ashley and I have had the most blissful month or two. I am hoping this is not just a serendipitous thing, but that we are truly understand how to love and support each other in a way that makes us both fully happy. I love her so much. She makes me feel like I can do anything and that my ideas and fears and passions are all valid and important. I love her.

Her student teaching has been going very well - she usually comes home very excited to tell me what has happened at school that day . . . except for every once in a while when she is annoyed that the students didn't want to pay attention that day. I visited school with her the other day and it was SO fun to watch her interact with the kids and be so cute and professional.

VADA has been going amazingly. We have business coming out our ears. We just printed a new sweet transparent business card! I love it!

Anyway life is awesome and I am happy that heavenly father has seen fit to give us sunshine and happiness at least for a while!

It is great I have figured out how to make paying clients. It was a process to be sure. I think most of the difference is in the way I am viewing my SELF and my business. I view us as valuable professionals now instead of silly kids with photoshop.

I love it! We have 4 or 5 active paying clients. Things have been going awesome! I got to graphic design job offers yesterday at BYU. I am going to be the "Chinese Flag Ship" creative director. I am really exited. The other job was to be an illustrator of course material for the Independant Study program. Good times.

Ashley is so cool! She is now up doing her teaching intern ship thingadoodle at the Copper Hills place and it is neat. She is gone a lot which is kind of sadenning, but that is ok because i just sit at home and talk to pictures of her (I am not crazy?). I really like her.

LIFE 3.0

Life is fun. I like being a designer. I have like 2 live clients right now. It has been a challenge finding work, but a doable and fufllfilling challenge! Ashley and I are learning a lot and loving being married. It has it's hard days, but most of it is truely wonderful!

I finally landed a relatively high paying job today. Sandy's Kitchen of slc is hiring me to do some promotional flyer/poster things for them. Eventually they want to hire me to redesign thier webprescene! Go team!

Things have been amazing these last few days! I am so happy that Ashley loves me enough to try and meet my needs and try her hardest to change herself to suit me. She is a great woman capable of incredible things. I love her so much. For the most part, being married has been totally awesome – of course it has token struggles and hardships – and there are even days were it seems to hard to bear – but that is just life, not marriage. I love having someone there to always appreciate me and put me first and care about me.

Business is the same – today I wrote a fiery letter to client helping him see how he NEEDS me to redisign his website. This week we finished thew seed lady site and the treacherous HTA html redo.

LIFE IS NEAT!

Ashley and I just returned from a trip to Georgia! It was really fun and good times . . . for some reason when ever we go on a trip it never just goes smoothly. we for some reason always have something crazy to work out and talk about and it always seems to happen on trips. I don't know why! But it always ends up being very good and important.

So I quit my job at pirate island. Now i am Mindclouding full spead ahead! Right now I am trying to figure out how to turn ALMOST there clients into REAL clients. It is hard. I have like 1000 almost there clients! HELP!

Shot a wedding in florida and is was cool! Loved being with the Rodgers family. Got closer to Ashley and had lots of ideas for mindcloud!

Like always it has been too long since I have written in my journal. Um . . . Everything is super. Unfortunately, I made my blog public and someone read a bit of truth and got offended. That is just so sad. And so I had to take my blog away from being public because the inside of my brain is a little to prickly and intense for EVERYBODY who mind find access to it.

Ashley and I are having a blast. The sun came back out and we love to be with eachother and do everything together. Except for toinght because "I feel a girl

s night coming on." Yesterday night me and Ashley stayed at the Mom went somewhere for the weekend in and it was super fun! We watched "wait untill dark" with Audrey Hepburn and Alan Arkan and it was superb. I forgot how scary that movie was.

Life continues to be difficult at times but good overall. Tommorow Ashley and I are giving talks on Mother's day . . . weirdest phenominon of my life: I have given the mothers day talk like 6 times, no joke, in my life.

Well everything is going swimmingly here at the beck home! Of course things are happier than ever between me and my fabulous female. I just needed to readjust my thinking (as always) and then things worked out. I love ashley so much! Actually this week, I have felt closer to her than ever and I feel that our friend ship has reached a new level. That's the name of the game in marriage: friendship. Sex and love and getting along and respect and all the other appendages of marriage i think can be circumscribed under the heading and concept of friendship.

This week I found a website that changed my life . . . it is at www.friendswithyou.com it is the happiest most fabulous thing in the world. It is this design that is so tender and silly and happy it causes the sun to shine in my heart! Check it out! The image to the left is a sample of their work. Speaking of awesome design. I have really seriously been thinking about changing my whole major and focus to being a graphic designer and such . . . but I don't know what will happen. We will see.

Well . . . sometimes hard times happen, for some reason the last week has been kind of hard for Ashley and I. I don't know why but it has been a bit strange. We got a new computer finally! Which is really cool because we can now do more work at home instead of in the mac lab. It is really neat. I have written some stuff of garage band because it is a program that was deffinetly made for my brain. So pirate island is cool. Conference was neat. I thought I had a lot to write but I guess i don't.
The source of our sadness has been my lack of organization and problems I cause in life because I have some serious ADD! Well . . . Amen.

WEEKEND WITH WIFE AND WINTER WONDER WALRUSES

This weekend, Ashley and I watched the new Madea movie "I can do bad all by myself". It was hillarious great and I really enjoyed it. I really liked the Christlike character portrayed by the hispanic guy. I wasn't expecting that. Um we also had new church at 2:30 p.m. (way too late) and we went to the temple and I worked a lot at the old PI (pirate island). . . Good times . . . great oldies . . . oldies 94.1

Life gets kinda hard sometimes

I don't know what to do with myself . . . am I a graphic designer . . . or am I a PHD psychologist? I don't know. On a more important note, I love dinosaurs! There is something so juvenile and wonderful about the love of dinosaurs and I find that it hasn't yet left me.

ASHLEY's BIRTHDAY!!!

My lovin' woman turned 22 today! I got to play life-size-barby with her and buy her lots of hot clothes! Also started the official "cocoa appreciation blog" http://www.mindcloudmedia/cocoa for love of ashley! We've been having a ball as a married couple!








We all had lot's of fun and ate chocolate pancakes! I love that girl!

Today I designed some shirts, to use in the beck family run we are doing! Oh by the way we are doing a marathon this weekend! It is going to be awesome! Jeff, Andrew and Erin are doing the half marathon and Jenny Mom and my ashley are doing the 5 miler! It's going to be doing neat! So anyways I have to go home now! SO MUCH TIME HAS PASSED

1. First of all, Ashley and I GOT MARRIED!!!!!!! YES~! Things are going as good as ever and we are really happy and I love life! Living with her and sleeping with her is more than I can explain.

2. I started a business with my good freind debra lowe. The business is called
We do um . . . graphic design, web design, and generally just anything we can get our hands on! I spend quite a bit of time on it a day, as I would really like to make it my primary business so that I could enjoy making money for me and my sweet heart, instead of dreading going to work! Someday I will have this option! It is coming together. So far we have done 2 probono sites, and 2 paying clients. The challenge we have now, is learning how to continually find people to work for!
